Here's where you can find Father Chrismas this winter:
You'll make magical family memories with a visit to Santa's enchanting grotto at Tong Garden Centre! Your child starts their experience in the winter wonderland before watching how Santa arrives at Tong in a very special way! In groups, your child then hears a festive fairytale read by Santa before meeting him individually. Finally, the elves invite your child to choose their own gift from their workshop. The grotto experience at Tong Garden Centre is open daily from 14th November to Christmas Eve and you can book in advance by selecting your preferred date and time.
For the first time the children of York will be able to meet Father Christmas in King's Square! Father Christmas will be sending his builder elves to construct him his very own log cabin to house his workshop and festive study. Families will be invited into Father Christmas's "old fashioned sweet shop", where they will be asked to design their own chocolate bar and "post" their design to the chocolate room at the North Pole where Santa's top confectioner elf "Joseph Pinetree" will pick a winning treat! The winning child will be invited back to York's Chocolate Story in the New Year to work with our own chocolatier to make their chocolate for real!
Stump Cross Caverns, Pateley Bridge. Father Christmas will be in the caves, taking last minute orders for presents on: Saturday the 12th of December, Sunday the 13th of December, Saturday the 19th of December, Sunday the 20th of December, There will also be a special Christmas Fairy Door hunt! This year bring your little ones to experience the magic of Christmas at Lightwater Valley. Meet Santa and his helpers in his Grotto, watch their talking reindeer show, be amazed by the Christmas magic show and browse an array of stalls selling beautiful hand-crafted gifts - perfect to purchase those unique Christmas presents from.
All the elves at Stockeld Park have been working really hard to build Santa a brand new Grotto! Help them welcome him back to Stockeld Park and visit him in his luxury log cabin in beautiful woodland surroundings. Celebrate Santa's arrival at Stockeld Park in November; see his reindeer in their pen and follow Santa and his sleigh around our Enchanted Forest in a wonderful parade.
On selected dates in December, enjoy entry into The Deep including visiting Santa's grotto (and a small gift), a magical mystery tour on Hull's famous land train and free car parking for the price of standard entry! Whilst at The Deep, children can also marvel at 3,500 fish including spectacular sharks and rays, a colony of Gentoo penguins, take a walk through the viewing tunnel and a ride in the glass lift. Not forgetting a wide range of arts and crafts at Craft Corner, face painting and a festive trail.
Take a trip through the Winter Wonderland Grotto at Ackworth Garden Centre, where you will have a chance to let Santa know all your Christmas wishes, receive a fabulous gift from the big man himself and get a fabulous photo with him!
Santa Sunday at Burnby Hall Gardens: Christmas is coming and at Burnby Hall Gardens their thoughts are turning to Father Christmas's visit on Sunday 6th December. Everyone is really excited that he's coming once again to Pocklington's iconic Gardens.
This Christmas, Santa will return to his Magical Kingdom at Meadowhall and will be ready and waiting to find out just what you want for Christmas! Get ready for some festive fun as you pass twinkling icicles and sparkling snow, meeting a whole host of frosty friends along the way. Santa will have a special gift for every one of his visitors and you can even buy a special souvenir photo on the day.
Father Christmas's Grotto at Fountain's Abbey & Studley Royal. What's that sound? It's the jingle of reindeer bells - Father Christmas is touching down at Fountains Abbey this year and he comes bearing gifts! If you've been a good little boy or girl then come and pay him a visit in his cosy grotto and he may have a special something for you.
Come down to Murton Park to meet Santa and his elves including the infamous Bauble! Take a peek in Santa's house and maybe even visit the elves' parcel despatch workshop. The big news this year is that the elves are planning their own Christmas Pantomime and are busy auditioning for the staring roles! Watch out Bauble - "They're behind you!"
Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - Join the Santa Special at Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley Stations for a ten-mile return journey on our steam train, lasting around an hour. Experience nostalgia and the magic of Christmas in our specially decorated coaches, with festive music to get you into the mood. Santa and his pixies visit each child during the journey, delivering presents and the grown-ups are served with a mince pie and seasonal drink: the perfect way for you and your family to start the Christmas season.
Festive Fun with Father Christmas at selected dates in December at Barley Hall, York. On arrival you will be greeted by our costumed hosts for a festive breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea followed by fun & games, seasonal stories and Christmas crafting for all ages. An Audience with Father Christmas at Brodsworth Hall - Meet Father Christmas in the entrance hall of Brodsworth, dressed in sumptuous traditional colourful costume to tell tales of Christmas past and recite famous yuletide stories and poems. Join the audience to relax and listen to these heart warming stories.
Father Christmas's Grotto at Swinton Bivouac - Snow flake the Elf has been sent to Swinton Bivouac to help the team prepare for the arrival of Father Christmas, the elves will be hard at work making sure that he gets to see as many girls and boys as possible when he visits on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December in the Owl Barn. Father Christmas has chosen Bivouac as his secret retreat before he begins his journey around the world to deliver all of your presents! He cannot wait to meet you all, even Mrs Claus will be making cookies for you to enjoy. Rudolf has tasked his furry friends at Swinton Park to ensure that the elves behave and make your presents on time!

On Saturday 19th December, as part of our two day Christmas Fair, Father Christmas and his Chief Elf will travel all the way from the North Pole in search of Christmas helpers.
